Whether you want to be able to see space launches from your campsite or relax in a woodsy setting, the county has the right park for you. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the many opportunities to hike, fish, swim or bike.

Jetty Park Campground

The 35-acre Jetty Park Campground is located in the central section of the county. It's the only campground in the county with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. There are 150 wooded sites, with 4.5 acres of direct beach access. All sites allow full hook-ups. The park accepts pets and offers a laundry facility, camp store, bait store, snack bar, picnic/BBQ area and playground. There are restrooms and shower facilities. Beach wheelchairs are available. The park is approximately one-quarter mile from Port Canaveral.

Manatee Hammock Park

Situated in the northern region of Brevard County is the Manatee Hammock Park; it's lined by the Indian River Lagoon. The 147 RV sites offered are wooded and secluded. They're perfect for watching launches from the Kennedy Space Center. Sites give full hook-ups, with some pull-thru sites available. The park accepts pets, and it offers a laundry facility, BBQ/picnic area with grills, pavilion, recreation hall and shuffleboard. There are bathroom and showers. Hikers will enjoy the park's nature trails and the shores of the Indian River. Discounts and specials are available.

Wickham Park

The heavily wooded Wickham Park in Melbourne lies in the southern most region of county. The park is situated on 391 acres, and it offers 88 full hook-up sites that are secluded and shady. Wickham Park offers many recreation activities for the outdoor enthusiast. There are two swimming lakes and three fishing lakes. Trails are available for hiking, biking, horseback riding and jogging. An archery range, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, a dog park, soccer fields and an 18-hole disc golf course are at the park.

The park has bathrooms, showers, pavilions and picnic/BBQ areas situated throughout it. Birdwatchers will enjoy the many species of birds that call the park home. The Atlantic Ocean is approximately 20 miles from the park. Discounts and specials are available.
