Located on the eastern end of Grays Harbor, the city of Aberdeen, Washington is just 20 minutes away from the ocean where clamming, fishing, horseback riding and boating opportunities abound. Best known as the birthplace of grunge rocker Kurt Cobain, Aberdeen is a small, friendly, working class town that provides a great choice for the budget traveler wishing to explore the recreational activities of Grays Harbor. These activities include boating and biking, and all the hiking trails of the nearby Olympic National Park.
