Pizza Restaurants in Bridgeton, Missouri
The U.S. Census Bureau says Bridgeton, Mo., a suburb of St. Louis that's near several major highways and about five miles from St. Louis Lambert International Airport, has only slightly more than 15,000 people living there. But the city boasts 10 parks and 256 acres that offer picnicking, sports, swimming, inline skating, walking and running facilities. Also, the Missouri Department of Conservation maintains a 10.5-acre area, called the Hickory Woods Natural Area, that has a 0.8-mile wooded walking trail next to Gentry Park. The Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex has facilities for baseball, soccer, tennis, racquetball, batting cages and sledding. The city also boasts its 52-acre, nine-hole Bridgeton Berry Hill Golf Course, which has a clubhouse, pro shop, concession area, maintenance facility and tournament shelter. If you're craving pizza after a day in the Missouri outdoors, try the dish St. Louis-style; it's available at several nearby eateries.

Imo's Pizza

This locally owned-and-operated chain epitomizes St. Louis-style pizza---fresh toppings, thin crust and Provel cheese, all cut into square slices. The restaurant's owners think it was one of the first pizzerias in the country to offer home delivery. Aside from pizza, the menu also offers sandwiches, salads, pastas and appetizers, including another St. Louis specialty called "toasted ravioli," which is actually fried ravioli stuffed with meat and seasonings. The company has a number of franchises all over the St. Louis metropolitan area.

It also has locations across the St. Louis metropolitan area but is slightly less expensive than Imo's. In addition to pizza, diners will find sandwiches, appetizers, pastas, sides, salads and desserts.
