Library IV
In operation for more than 30 years, Library IV is one of Williamstown's most revered establishments. A recent renovation has added a 30-foot long salad bar to the cozy and casual restaurant. Aside from steak, the restaurant offers seafood selections such as salmon steak, crab cakes and shrimp as well as a long list of sandwiches and appetizers. The dark wood bar is a place to unwind with a drink. Food from the main menu is available both at the bar and in the lounge. On the weekends, a live band performs.

The Highlander Pub & Grill
Set inside the picturesque Scotland Run Golf Course, the Highlander Pub & Grill is a charming dining room serving "casual fare with a flair," according to its website. Decorated with dark wood furnishings and forest green accents, the dining room, complete with library lamps and several fireplaces, evokes a feeling of aristocratic charm. The menu is a roster of American classics: shrimp cocktail, clams casino and New York strip. Scottish selections feature a hearty chicken pot pie and a whiskey-infused meatloaf. The wine list is impressive as well, and the restaurant runs a special every week where all bottles are marked down as much as 50 percent. The restaurant is also known for its Sunday brunch, with made-to-order eggs and waffles.

Taylor's
Taylor's is a fun destination for a bite and a turn around the dance floor. The space has been recently renovated and features a modern sports bar, restaurant seating and dance club. The food is casual with selections of burgers, sandwiches and salads. Dinners include a generously portioned T-bone steak, pastas and grilled chicken and fish. The food is reasonably priced. While not a fine dining experience, Taylor's is the choice for a laid-back and reliable bite.
