While most visitors to Las Vegas are interested in nighlife and gambling, the area actually has quite a few opportunities for hiking worth checking out as well. Just about 49 miles outside of the city, Charleston Peak National Scenic Trail is a day hike offering spectacular views for the experienced hiker. Visitors looking to lay their heads down in luxury can find several hotels with suites in the area.

The Venetian

The Venetian is an all-suite hotel, home to nine different types of suites, including a penthouse. Suites are replete with DVD players and LCD TVs in the bathroom, and most also include a wet bar and jetted tub. Other hotel amenities include a casino, pool deck, night club and shopping. Guests can also take advantage of the gondola rides in the hotel's canal.

Bellagio

The Bellagion has nine suites available to visitors, most of which are more than 1,000 feet in size. The suites aim to provide guests with luxury and comfort, and include such features as marble foyers, whirlpools, and 42-inch LCD televisions. The Bellagio also boasts botanical gardens and a renowned fountain show on its property. Guests can find dining, shopping, and gambling on-site as well.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

The HRH Tower at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has 374 custom suites. Dark wood floors and marble outfit the suites, and other amenities include two 40-inch televisions and blackout drapes. The hotel has many amenities to offer guests; a casino and nightclub are located downstairs, and there is also on-site dining. The pool area offers swim-up gaming, so guests can get a tan while they play cards.
