Green Mountain Bed and Breakfast
Located just outside of Asheville in Candler, the Green Mountain Bed and Breakfast was the area's first green bed and breakfast. Complimentary full gourmet breakfasts are prepared using all natural and organic ingredients. Each uniquely decorated room offers a private bath, sitting area, cable TV, DVD player, hair dryer, fleece robes, terry cloth slippers, and A/C. The grounds of the Green Mountain Bed and Breakfast have been designated as a backyard habitat by the National Wildlife Federation and feature a nature trail that leads to a private beach on Hominy Creek.

Pisgah View Ranch
Billed as the best dude ranch east of the Mississippi River, the Pisgah View Ranch invites visitors to explore the old west while enjoying the sights of North Carolina. Hiking, golfing, campfires, swimming, tennis, horseback riding and three meals a day are all available at this all-inclusive ranch resort. Cabins are furnished and have air conditioning and heat. Some cabins have whirlpool tubs, but none have TV, Internet or cell phone service.

Close to Asheville, the Days Inn Candler is the perfect motel for those wishing to spend more of their time exploring the area than in a room.
