Market Street Cafe

The Market Street Cafe is located in the California Hotel and Casino, a block from Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. This restaurant offers a soup and salad combo starting at $5.95 (as of January 2010), and diners can add a salad for an extra $2. Sandwich choices include ham, chicken salad, roast beef, tuna salad and turkey. Guests can also opt for the salad bar. The restaurant offers a steak and shrimp combo on the dinner menu. There are also daily specials that include entrees such as fried mackerel, teriyaki short ribs, Hawaiian hamburger steaks and tempura fish. The Market Street Cafe is open everyday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Ellis Island Brewery

This restaurant, located inside the Ellis Island Casino off the Las Vegas Strip, offers microbrew beers and entrees for low prices. The restaurant's signature entree is fish and chips, which is beer-battered Icelandic cod with steak fries and tartar sauce. Ellis Island Brewery also offers several sandwiches, such as chicken Parmesan, meatball and BLT. All sandwiches are served with steak fries. The pasta marinara comes with soup or salad. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day.

Sourdough Cafe

The Sourdough Cafe is located inside Arizona Charlie's Boulder Highway Casino. The restaurant is known for its $3.29 steak and eggs and ham and egg specials (prices as of January 2010). This price is only available to slot club members. Sourdough Cafe also offers a selection of burgers, including traditional, bacon cheddar, chili and mushroom swiss. Burgers come with French fries, potato salad or coleslaw. The restaurant also has an "all you can eat" spaghetti special for $7.99. The Sourdough Cafe is open from 6 a.m. until midnight Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on the weekends.
