Orlando, Florida Shopping Attractions
People the world over know Orlando, Florida for its famous theme parks, water parks, and golf courses. Orlando also boasts boating, fishing, hiking and water skiing along with its fair share of shopping attractions, many where shopping isn't the only choice on the menu. Of course shopping in Orlando involves souvenirs, but it can also feature miniature golf, a hot-air balloon ride, boat rentals and a skate park.

Festival Bay Mall at International Drive

Headlined by a Bass Pro Shop, Festival Bay features specialty stores like Ron Jon Surf Shop, United World Soccer, PacSun and Shepler's Western Wear. Dining choices include a food court, a burger restaurant, an Italian place and an English pub.

Festival Bay has a Cinemark movie theater featuring all-stadium seats in its 20 theaters. For the kids, there's Monkey Joes, a roomful of giant inflatables where they can jump and play for hours. Parents can relax in nearby seating stocked with TVs and WiFi access. The mall also features Vans Skatepark and the Putting Edge, a glow-in-the-dark mini golf attraction.

Downtown Disney

Disney's shopping and dining district features a variety of specialty shops, including the 50,000 square-foot, one-of-a-kind World of Disney. Dining options include 19 different choices like Wolfgang Puck Café, Fulton's Crab House and a Ghirardelli Soda Shop. Downtown Disney activities feature a tethered balloon ride floating 400 feet into the sky for a view of the Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Quest, an indoor interactive gaming complex, the Cirque du Soleil -- La Nouba show, as well as boat rentals and a movie theater.

Downtown Disney is open every day of the year. The shops open at 9:30 a.m. and restaurants open at 9 a.m. Most of the shops and restaurants remain open until 11 p.m. daily, and some stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays.

Orlando Premium Outlets

Orlando has become a Mecca for outlet shoppers, and the Orlando Premium Outlets is a big reason for that. The Premium Outlets offers upscale merchandise at outlet prices in 150 stores with designer names like Armani, Hugo Boss and Banana Republic. The Outlet opens daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. On Sundays, closing is at 9 p.m.

Prime Outlets Orlando

Located at the northern end of International Drive, the Prime Outlets offers luxury brand names like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. This shopping complex boasts the title of largest outlet center in the southeast and features discount stores such as Burton Snowboard, Columbia and Surf Warehouse. Prime Outlets opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday closing is at 9 p.m. The mall is open 365 days a year, with added hours around the holidays.
