Indianapolis offers visitors a variety of outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy an afternoon at Ellenberger Park, which provides hiking trails, tennis courts, playgrounds, an ice skating rink and swimming facilities. Garfield Park Conservatory also offers numerous outdoor activities, including strolls through the park's sunken gardens. Vito Provolone's

Vito Provolone's is a casual Italian restaurant that focuses on using locally grown produce and organic ingredients. The pasta used in the restaurant's dishes is made on-site. Pasta entrees include lasagna, fettuccini alfredo, baked mostaccioli and meat ravioli. The menu also features other choices such as chicken pesto, shrimp Diablo and black Angus filet with marsala mushrooms. Red and white wines are available by the glass, and the restaurant also offers domestic and imported beers. Vito Provolone's is open for dinner seven days a week, and reservations are recommended.

Bosphorus Istanbul Café

Bosphorus offers Turkish cuisine in a relaxed setting. The menu features appetizers such as hummus, babaganush, stuffed grape leaves and falafel. Guests can choose from a variety of kababs, including chicken, lamb and beef. Other entrees include chicken couscous, spinach chicken, beef hummus and stuffed eggplant. There are also several vegetarian entrees, such as vegetable moussakka, vegetable-stuffed eggplant and guvee, which is a dish of eggplant, rice, vegetables and tomato sauce. Bosphorus is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, and closes at 6 p.m. Sundays, as of 2010. Reservations are not necessary.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries

As the name suggests, Five Guys Burgers and Fries offers hamburgers and french fries. There are also several types of hot dogs available. The restaurant is well known for its hand-cut fries, which are also available with Cajun spices. Burger choices on the limited menu include hamburgers, cheeseburgers, bacon burgers and bacon cheeseburgers. Guests can choose from a variety of toppings, including jalapenos, grilled mushrooms, steak sauce, relish and hot sauce. The restaurant also has a vegetarian burger option, which consists of a bun with unlimited toppings. Five Guys Burgers and Fries is open for lunch and dinner every day. Reservations are not available.
