Twin Falls, in south central Idaho, is famous for Shoshone Falls, a waterfall that's actually taller than Niagara Falls. Visitors will enjoy canoeing or kayaking on the Snake River and hiking in Snake River Canyon. In the summer, you can go white water rafting or water skiing and, in the winter months, cross country and downhill skiing are popular. Picnic in Shoshone Falls Park, then hike the trail around Dierkes Lake. Twin Falls itself offers gift shops, art galleries, cafes and several hotels.

Some rooms even include an in-room spa; perfect to relax in after a long day hiking the trails. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool and a spa. While there isn't an on-site restaurant, there are several restaurants close by with Applebee's being a popular dinner choice. Dogs are welcome with a small fee.

Located close to Snake River Canyon, the Red Lion Hotel Canyon Springs is conveniently located for many of Twin Falls' outdoor pursuits.
