Restaurants With a City View in Boston
Boston may be the most beautiful city in the United States, and it is certainly a culinary lover's delight. People who who enjoy gazing at the skyline, skyscrapers or ships in the harbor while eating a wide range of top notch cuisine will find a plethora of restaurants to suit their tastes.

Top of the Hub

Top of the Hub serves cuisine that has earned the restaurant "The Award of Excellence From Distinguished Restaurants of America," and it offers an unbeatable skyline view. Located at the 52nd floor of the Prudential Building in the Back Bay, it allows food aficionados to feast on pan-seared salmon or braised lamb shank. Every table in the establishment offers a spectacular view of the Boston skyline. After dinner, guests can move to the adjoining skyline observatory to get an even better look at the city. From here you can see the Boston Commons, Fenway Park and the Charles River.

The Barking Crab

Skip across the Fort Point Channel and you will find a more festive, blue-collar dining experience at the Barking Crab. With a bold sign that announces "The Barking Crab" atop an orange and yellow canvas top, it looks a little like the circus came to town. The casual atmosphere makes it an ideal place to eat while admiring the skyscrapers of Boston. Started as a summer restaurant in 1994, it has expanded to a year-round operation. Still, the best time to grab crab cakes here is during the summer when you can sit outside and not only enjoy the view but feel the wind and hear the waves brushing up against the ships that cruise through the water.
