Ocean City, New Jersey, is known as a family seaside resort. There is so much to explore here with its eight miles of beautiful beaches. You can kayak along Ocean City's intercoastal waterways. Visit Corson's Inlet State Park to go hiking or sport fishing. Take in the beautiful scenery with a bike ride along the boardwalk. The dining options are as plentiful as the activities offered.

Jay's Crabshack

Jay's Crabshack is a family-friendly seafood restaurant that's known for its crab cakes and Manhattan-style clam chowder. Appetizers include giant fried onion rings, fried calamari and "Crab Dawg" (blue crab meat blended with spices and a light filler that is then wrapped in a thin pastry dough). Lobster bisque is one of the house soups. Entrees include shrimp in a basket, grilled tuna and salmon; they're all served with French fries and homemade coleslaw.

There is a kids' menu for the little tots and fried-chicken dinners for those who are not fond of seafood. Funnel cakes and fried Oreos are a few items on the dessert menu. Jay's Crabshack does not serve alcohol. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and for breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday.

Cousin's Restaurant

Cousin's offers American dishes, Italian cuisine and seafood. Twilight dinners are offered everyday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. (as of 2009) at a reduced price. These dinners come with a house salad, a vegetable, homemade bread and your choice of dessert. Shrimp and broccoli, grilled salmon, veal parmigiana and jumbo stuffed shells are a few items listed on this special menu.

Appetizers include bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms and fried calamari. Cream of crab and French onion soup are also on the menu. Dinner entrees include pasta, chicken tortellini, Maryland crab cakes and NY sirloin steak. Takeout is available. Cousin's Restaurant is open seven days a week for dinner.

Randazzo Pizzeria & Family Restaurant

This family-owned business serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pizza can be purchased by the slice in addition to whole pies. Appetizer choices include mozzarella sticks and Buffalo wings. Cheese fries and onion rings are a couple of the sides available. In addition to pizzas, Randazzo offers salads, panini sandwiches, wraps, hot and cold hoagies, pastas and burgers. There's a kids' menu for children 12 and under. The restaurant offers takeout and free delivery. Randazzo's is open seven days a week.
