Okemah, OK is a small town located in the central part of Oklahoma and serves as a nice gateway to some of the natural areas found as you move toward the east part of the state. Okemah is just south of Lake Okemah, a popular camping and hiking destination, as well as one of the top bass fishing lakes in the state. South of Okemah is the smaller Lake Wetumka, which also offers camping and fishing.

Days Inn Okemah

Located just off Interstate 40, the Days Inn is the best choice for hotels in the Okemah area, with the amenities and standards of a typical chain hotel. While the Days Inn doesn't have a pool, it does offer breakfast, king-size beds and rooms with two double beds. The hotel also offers free high speed Internet to guests and a 24-hour fitness center. Rooms have a coffee maker and a mini refrigerator.

Circle G Motel

A locally owned motel on the western edge of Okemah, the Circle G is no-frills but has been freshened up for visitors. Guests get free cable in their rooms, which come with their two doubles or a queen size bed. All rooms are air conditioned ad have their own coffee maker, microwave and bathroom. The motel doesn't offer a pool or continental breakfast.

Henryetta Inn and Dome

Located just east of Okemah in Henryetta, the Henryetta Inn and Dome offers some of the most extra amenities of any hotels in the area, including an indoor pool, a two-story jacuzzi suite and meeting rooms. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, overlooking the indoor dome area, which is stocked with activities, including a racquetball court, sauna, arcade and game area. The hotel offers free cable and wireless Internet. The Inn also features its own restaurant and bar.
