Nashville is located in the central part of Tennessee, about 180 miles west of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Although known as "Country Music USA" and famous for its musical talent with the advent of the Grand Ole Opry in the 1920s, the city also offers visitors other activities such as golf, shopping, museums, tours through the city, trail rides through the mountains and camping. Nashville is home to several resorts and campgrounds that offer a wide variety of lodging options.

End O' The Bend Lodge & Landing offers just one cabin for rent, but it is a historic site located on the banks of the Cumberland River and just a short drive from downtown Nashville. The cabin is 150 years old but offers all the comforts of home such as satellite television, central heat and air, a big screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a large private porch.

Loretta Lynn's Ranch

Loretta Lynn's Ranch, located about 75 miles west of Nashville in Hurricane Mills, is a full service RV Park that also offers a variety of cabins for rent. The resort features a swimming pool, playgrounds, canoes and paddle boats as well as a small theater. Daily tours can be scheduled through the Lynn's plantation home as well as the simulated coal mine and simulated Butcher Holler home. Guests can also visit the Coal Miner's Daughter Museum, located on site.
