Nashville is located in the central part of Tennessee, about 180 miles west of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Loretta Lynn's Ranch, located about 75 miles west of Nashville in Hurricane Mills, is a full service RV Park that also offers a variety of cabins for rent. The resort features a swimming pool, playgrounds, canoes and paddle boats as well as a small theater. Daily tours can be scheduled through the Lynn's plantation home as well as the simulated coal mine and simulated Butcher Holler home. Guests can also visit the Coal Miner's Daughter Museum, located on site.
