If you decide to leave the property and see what else the area has to offer, go seven miles east to Gulf Shores and check out Gulf State Park. There you will find more beach property, several lakes for fishing and trails for hiking, where you might encounter local wildlife.

Grand Pointe Condominiums are located on Gulf Road where Perdido Pass and the Gulf of Mexico meet. Each condo has a private balcony, and amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, fitness room, washer and dryer and a grill and picnic area. These condos are just seven miles from the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. There you can see bears, lions, tigers, reptiles and a petting zoo. Just a bit farther north, 20 miles away in Summerdale, you can visit the 20-acre Alligator Alley and observe alligator feeding and nesting. While you're there, make sure to look for "Captain Crunch," the 800-pound, 13-foot-long star of Alligator Alley.
