Holcombe, Wisconsin, is a small, rural town built on Lake Holcombe about 50 miles north of Eau Claire. Part of the Chippewa River flowage, Lake Holcombe is a popular summer and winter fishing spot full of musky, northern pike, crappie, lake sturgeon and bass. It sits in a beautifully wooded area with plenty of opportunities for snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, boating, canoeing and kayaking.

Paradise Shores

Paradise Shores is a lake-front motel with a lounge, restaurant and conference center. Perfect for launching a jet ski or boat, the motel provides water access as well as waterfront activities like volleyball. A large dock system allows all types of boats to launch from in front of the motel and is perfect for canoeing or kayaking, although pontoon boat rentals are also available. A hot tub, sauna and pool are also available. All rooms include a TV and phone, and suites also have a microwave, refrigerator and sleeper sofas. Wireless Internet is available throughout the motel.

Pine Drive Cabin Rentals

The Pine Drive Cabins are year-round cabins, economically priced and simply furnished, with dock slips, patios with table/chairs, full bath, fireplace, kitchens, cooking utensils and cable TV. The log cabin has a wood-burning fireplace while other cabins have gas fireplaces. Located on Lake Holcombe, the fishing and boating is great and the cabins are located less than a mile from public sand beaches for swimming. There are miles of ATV and snowmobile trails as well as plenty of opportunities for ice fishing, sledding and ice skating.

Flater's Flambeau Point Resort

Flater's Flambeau Point Resort is located at the headwaters of Lake Holcombe where the Chippewa and Flambeau rivers enter the lake. There are many game fish including musky, northern and walleyed pike and small mouth bass. Offering four different types of river trips, guides are available to help you find the fish and canoe the rivers. The surrounding Flambeau Hills offer scenery, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. The resort also offers a beach, playground, inner tubing, horseshoe pits, a basketball court and a softball diamond. Campsites and cottages are available. Cottages include TV, complete kitchens and water views. There is also a full bar and restaurant on site.
