Battle Road Trail in the Minute Man National Historic Park is a great place to walk, hike or bike. The Charles River Reservation has twenty miles of linear trail, on both sides of the river for runners and bicyclers to enjoy, and kayakers can paddle all the way to Boston. The Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge also has hiking trails.
