Oak Brook is a suburb west of Chicago. In addition to being a first-rate residential community, the city has a thriving commercial area. Oak Brook is home to many corporations and organizations including McDonald's, Ace Hardware, Federal Signal Corporation, Blistex and Lions Club International. Oak Brook offers many lodging options which are good for the personal and business traveler. Being close to Lake Michigan allows the outdoor enthusiast to take part in sailing, running and rollerblading along the lake, and playing sand volleyball. In addition, Oak Brook has numerous golf courses and trails which are conducive to walking, running, bicycling and rollerblading. Doubletree Hotel is a fine alternative for both corporate and vacation guests. It is also a good venue for a wedding or reception. Accommodations include free high-speed Internet access, telephone with voice mail and in-room movies. It also offers little extras such as an iron board, hair dryer and coffee maker. The Marriott hotel is located across from the Oakbrook Center. It has 350 rooms and many suites. It has an indoor pool and a health club. The Renaissance has 164 rooms and does not allow pets. It offers valet dry cleaning, a rooftop pool, local transportation service and a fitness center. The Renaissance has an on-site restaurant which is managed by a French trained chef. The rooms feature luxury bedding with plush pillows, comfortable mattresses and opulent bedding and sheets.

Wyndam Drake is a great lodging option for the active traveler.
