Nino's: A Local Favorite

With images of the Italian countryside adorning the walls and checked tablecloths, the decor of Nino's Italian Restaurant might seem typical but the food is a step above the rest. Open for lunch and dinner, this casual eatery relies on fresh, wholesome ingredients. Try Maria's Pizza which is a simple but delicious combination of garlic, basil and tomatoes. Also recommended are Nino's calzones, calamari, the fettuccine siciliano with fresh grilled eggplant and the (addictive) garlic twists. Be aware that Nino's can become quite crowded on the weekends, especially with families and children. Insider's secret: Ask for the Manager's Special Pasta, which you won't find on the menu. It's a garlic-infused pasta with vegetables and spinach.
