Get to Know the Family

For over a decade, the family-owned Carmelo's has served a variety of contemporary Italian, all made to order. The service is warm and friendly, and the menu is extensive. Consider some of their specialties, such as starting with the Reuben Bites, which are corned beef fritters stuffed with Thousand Island dressing and sauerkraut and then moving onto the "Fahgettaboutit" pie, which is hand tossed, sprinkled with Old Bay seasoning and layered with mozzarella, fresh lump crab meat, sauteed shrimp and their made-in-house garlic scampi sauce. For purists, there is the Traditional, with homemade red sauce and mozzarella, as well as the very popular Gourmet White pie, made with olive oil, fresh garlic, red pepper flakes, mozzarella and Romano cheese. Additionally, there's plenty of salads, submarine sandwiches, wraps, pastas, hot wings and chicken dishes.
