Best known for its outstanding salads, the award-winning Mecafresh, formerly known as the Mecca Café, has been serving up fresh fare since the original restaurant opened in Palm Harbor in 2000. The concept of Mecafresh is a fast casual café serving creative yet simplistic urban cuisine in a hip and trendy environment. Diners indulge in a tasty Walnut and Gorgonzola Chicken salad with roasted peppers and basil vinaigrette or the Cabo Cabo wrap with grilled Mahi Mahi, greens, avocado aioli, monterey jack cheese and tomatillo salsa. The kids menu is also extensive and reasonably priced. Hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
