Port of San Francisco Restaurants
San Francisco is known for many things, from its rich history, to its variety of cultural diversity. With so many great options for hiking and getting in touch with the great outdoors around the hills just north of the city, the convenience of the nearby Port of San Francisco is a perfect place for travelers to grab a bite. While the incredible spectrum of diverse cuisine here can often be overwhelming, there are a few choices on the water that will help narrow the field.

Piperade

Located roughly one block from the Embarcadero at the Port of San Francisco, Piperade infuses a mix of Spanish and Basque cuisine into its menu, proudly featuring the unique flavors of its French and Spanish influenced dishes. Piperade's upscale atmosphere balances well with a decor of exposed brick walls, exposed wood ceiling beams, and dim lighting that lend to its warm feel.

It houses a wide array of artwork from local artists, including giant sea urchin-like sculpted chandeliers as part of its commitment and support of San Francisco's artistic heritage.

Butterfly's inventive menu features Asian-fusion cuisine and it made the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence list for the last eight years.
