The town of Murfreesboro is nestled In the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in the south-central part of Arkansas. Although the population is less than 2,000, Murfreesboro has become quite famous due to the Crater of Diamonds State Park, the only operating diamond mine in the United States.

The Limetree Inn is located just outside of Murfreesboro in nearby Mena and has been in business for 17 years, as of 2009. It offers amenities such as coffeemakers in each room, a fitness room, swimming pool, 54 channels of cable television and VCR rentals. Limetree Inn welcomes small pets as well. The Limetree Restaurant inside the motel provides guests with home-cooked meals from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
