Japanese Hibachi Style Restaurants in Seattle

Japanese Hibachi Style Restaurants in Seattle
Seattle offers beautiful vistas of mountain tops and sea views. With nearly 200 miles of waterfront, the city is a constant reminder of seaside recreation--there are even local whale watching excursions. Whether you chose to spend the day rowing, mountain climbing, or just enjoying the fresh air, finish it off with an exciting and entertaining meal at one of Seattle's hibachi-style restaurants. The chefs will prepare something tableside, while you sit back and take in the show.

Benihana

Benihana is a relaxed and casual hibachi house that has been in operation for more than 40 years. Benihana mixes modern sensibilities with traditional touches in its light-filled dining room. The chefs perfectly craft each dish table side, and are also skilled entertainers--juggling and tossing their spatulas to an amused crowd. All of the hibachi entrees come in generous portions along with soup, salad, a shrimp appetizer, vegetables and rice. The restaurant also serves a small sushi menu with common cuts of sashimi and rolls. The lunch specials offer an excellent value, with reduced-price hibachi entrees and a sushi buffet. The bar makes several specialty cocktails like the house Mojito. There is small patio, where diners can enjoy their meals al-fresco.

Mizu Japanese Steak House

Mizu is a friendly and moderately-priced restaurant serving Japanese style steak, seafood and sushi. The family friendly restaurant is known for being accommodating to children, and the hibachi chefs are especially entertaining. The hibachi menu features all of the usual suspects: chicken, scallop, steak, and surf and turf. There is also a small sushi bar with a view of the hibachi tables for those seeking the best of both worlds. The room is dark and romantic, decorated in rich, liquored black with red and burgundy accents. Dim, red lanterns provide for subtle lighting, as does the backlit bar housing many exotic types of liquor.

Fuji Sushi & Steakhouse

Fuji Steakhouse serves authentic Japanese cuisine in its modern and spacious dining room. The family style seating organized around hibachi stations is smaller and more intimate than other Hibachi houses. The menu is long and reasonably priced. In addition to hibachi, the restaurant also has a full sushi bar with an accompanying menu of traditional Japanese appetizers including soups, salads, and dumplings. As well as the main dining room, there is a private room for special events, outfitted with its own private hibachi stations.
