Loon Lake Lodge Restaurant and Bar
Located at the northeast corner of the Interstate 69 and 465 split, Loon Lake Lodge has a long tradition in the restaurant business. First established in 1888, this establishment has kept its high standards of quality as it adapted with the times. Today, Loon Lake Lodge reflects its beginnings in its décor as well as in some of the menu selections, such as steaks, ribs, and fresh seafood. As diners leave the busy rush of speeding traffic and enter the woodsy atmosphere of the dining room, it's easy to be transported to simpler times. The interior design features local Indiana wildlife and vegetation. With a gift shop full of hand-crafted items by local artisans and a full menu aimed at a diverse clientele, this is truly a one-of-a-kind restaurant. Loon Lake Lodge also offers catering services for business groups, families, and formal celebrations such as weddings.

Ichiban Noodles
A Japanese restaurant with an authentic décor to match its cuisine, Ichiban Noodles sits on a small side street just off 86th St. Easy to miss because it's off the beaten path, this little hole-in-the-wall is one of Indianapolis's best-kept secrets. The meal begins with steamed washcloths and ends with a cup of hot green tea. Meals are served in traditional lacquer lunch boxes (bento), and made-to-order sashimi and sushi rolls are a favorite appetizer. The dining area is small and intimate, as the tables are sectioned off with movable screens for additional privacy.
