Historic Little Italy is bounded by Mulberry Street between Broome and Canal Streets in New York City. Lined with Italian Italian restaurants, this small neighborhood has shrunk in the past years due to the expansion of Chinatown. However, this Italian neighborhood still a tourist destination and offers a bit of New York history with every step. Explore New York by foot or by bike. Central Park offers a wide range of outdoor activities, which is a 10-minute subway ride from Little Italy. Beware of tourist traps when choosing a place to dine, however, choosing well can guarantee a wonderful, satisfying meal.

Vincent's

With the ambiance of a diner and a celebrity-laden wall, Vincent's has held its ground in Little Italy for more than 100 years. Their famous tomato sauce (or gravy) is served as sweet, medium, or hot depending on what you are having and can be found in specialty stores around the country. Choose from pizzas, a broad range of seafood, and pastas in this casual, friendly restaurant. Polish it all off with a nice spumoni or homemade tiramisu. Average dish is about $30. Ask about daily specials. Smart casual attire is acceptable.
