Bandon is a city in Coos County, Oregon, and is located on the mouth of the Coquille River. Known in the tourism industry as Bandon-by-the-sea, the city is well known for its fascinating storms that roll through the area, making storm watching very popular with tourists. Another event that the city celebrates is the Annual Cranberry Festival, which occurs every September. The festival acknowledges the beginning of the cranberry harvest, which draws many visitors from around Oregon and California.
