Fairfield Bay can be found in the north-central part of Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains and wraps around the north shores of Greers Ferry Lake. The town is just 75 miles north of the capital of Little Rock and is only a short two-hour drive from Branson, the nation's musical entertainment capital. Beautiful Greers Ferry Lake provides 40,000 acres of sparkling clear water. With its convenient location on the lake, Fairfield Bay offers activities such as fishing, swimming, water-skiing and boating as well as camping and hiking trails. The town is also home to several resorts.

Wyndham Resort

The Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Bay covers 14,000 acres and is located right on Greers Ferry Lake. The resort provides activities such as swimming, boating and fishing and offers both one- and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, washers and dryers, living room areas, and spa tubs in the master bedrooms. All suites offer views of either the lake, the wooded mountains or the golf course. Wyndham Resort also has an 18-hole golf course complete with coaching and equipment rentals, indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as four children's swimming pools, 10 tennis courts, a fitness and massage center, basketball courts, volleyball and even horseback riding on trails with supervision.

The Lazy M Ranch Resort

The Lazy M Ranch Resort is located right in the middle of the Little Red River in Fairfield Bay. The resort is a fully operating 1,400-acre horse and buffalo ranch. It offers a variety of cabin sizes as well as RV hookups and a lodge that is decorated with vintage coaches and antique vehicles. Guests of the Lazy M Ranch can enjoy a picnic and bonfire area, hiking and biking trails and also fishing, boating and canoeing on the river.

The River Hideaway

The River Hideaway resort is located just a few miles from Fairfield Bay in nearby Heber Springs. The resort offers a variety of cabins, which can sleep up to six guests and provide fully equipped kitchens as well as gas log fireplaces, whirlpool baths and barbecue grills. Guests can enjoy access to a trout dock for fishing on the Little Red River, and pets are also welcome.
