Palmer is located in western Massachusetts off Interstate 90. Although the town itself doesn't boast any attractions, it's proximity to the turnpike makes it a stopping point for many travelers. If you are torn between visiting Springfield's Basketball Hall of Fame, haggling at Brimfield's antique market, soaking in the history of Sturbridge Village, or carousing at the Wilbraham peach festival, you can stay near Palmer, MA. Southeast of Palmer in Wales you will also find the small Lake George, where you can boat, fish, and swim.
