North Atlanta provides a convenient base for visitors who want to experience the city's many outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy fishing, boating or hiking at one of the many parks that line the Chattahoochee River, or stroll through Zoo Atlanta, one of the oldest continuously operating zoos in the United States. There are also dozens of golf courses throughout the area, such as the Bobby Jones Golf Course and the Candler Park Golf Course. Terra Terroir Grille and Wine Patio

Terra Terroir Grille and Wine Patio offers Italian cuisine in an upscale setting. Dinner entrees include salmon with whole wheat pasta, fillet mignon with red wine mushrooms, Mediterranean pasta with sun dried tomatoes and lemon thyme lamb chops. The menu also features appetizers such as watermelon gazpacho, crab cakes and grilled portobello mushrooms. Guests can also relax with a selection from the restaurant's extensive wine list on the patio. Terra Terroir Grille and Wine Patio is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, and is closed on Sundays.

Haven Restaurant and Bar

Haven Restaurant and Bar specializes in American cuisine with French and Southern influences. Guests can choose from a variety of appetizers and small plates including bluefin tuna carpaccio, crispy gulf oysters and hickory smoked chicken salad. There are also numerous entrees such as bacon wrapped trout, roasted Maine halibut, chicken and dumplings and grilled pork chops. Valenza

Valenza is an upscale restaurant that offers entrees inspired by the cuisine of Northern Italy. Pasta dishes include fennel sausage orecchiete, butternut squash ravioli, shrimp risotto and tomato basil cappellini. Guests can also choose entrees such as grilled halibut, grilled veal chops, flat iron steaks or braised rabbit. You can also enjoy a glass of wine from the restaurant's extensive wine list. Valenza is open for dinner Monday through Saturday, and is closed on Sundays.
