Restaurants in Weehawken, New Jersey

The town of Weehawken in Hudson County is a place where you can dine in various restaurants and participate in a number of outdoor activities. Most restaurants and outdoor activities can be enjoyed by the whole family. Riverside Park, which is located on the Hudson River, is a place where there are playgrounds, playing fields, trails and a dog run. You can also play basketball in Tompkins Square.

River View Gourmet

River View Gourmet is a deli and restaurant. All the food is made fresh daily. You can order hot and cold sub sandwiches, wraps, salads and sides. Items on the menu include chicken spinach wrap, grilled vegetable wrap and a pepperoni, pepper ham, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers and garlic mayo sandwich, also known as the "Terminator." For breakfast you can order danishes, bagels, muffins and drinks such as cappuccinos, lattes and iced coffee. Sandwich platters and catering services are also available as well as ordering for takeout or delivery.

Ruth's Chris Steak House

Ruth's Chris Steak House serves appetizers and soups, salads and sides, steaks, entrees, wine and cocktails, and dessert. Appetizers and soups include barbecued shrimp, veal oso buco ravioli and lobster bisque. Salads and sides include steak house salad, Ruth's chop salad, Ceasar salad, and potatoes and vegetables. Steaks include rib eye, New York strip, porterhouse for two and T-bone. You can order entrees such as lamb chops, stuffed chicken breast and fresh lobster. A private dining room and catering for special events are available. Hours of operation are for lunch on Friday from noon to 2:30 p.m., and dinner Monday to Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m., Friday to Saturday until 11p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m.

Houlihan's

Houlihan's is a restaurant and bar with all the food on the menu made from scratch. Appetizers salads, entrées and desserts are served. The lunch menu is available from Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for parties of six or fewer. You can order items such as hot cheese fries, specialty burgers, Mandarin grilled chicken salad and Reuben sandwich. If you don't get your lunch order sooner than 15 minutes, it's free. For dinner you can order calamari, ultimate nachos, homemade soup of the day, barbecue salmon salad, fish tacos, Buffalo chicken sandwich, burgers, stuffed chicken breast, jambalaya and fajitas. Burgers, steaks and ribs, pasta dishes and sides are also available. A kids' menu is available, and you can order most items for takeout.
