Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof
The flagship hotel of the group is the premiere hotel in Frankfurt, which has Germany's largest airport and some of its biggest trade shows. Blockbuster book-and-movie deals have been concluded over drinks in the hotel's lobby during the Frankfurt Book Fair. Originally acquired by the group in 1940, the hotel was destroyed during the war and rebuilt in classic style. Located in the heart of the financial district, the Frankfurter Hof is close to shopping and transportation.

Steigenberger Europäischer Hof
Albert Steigenberger acquired this historic hotel in Baden-Baden in 1930 to launch the hotel group. Located across from the casino of this famous resort town, where the aristocracy from all over Europe came to take in the waters, the Europäischer Hof is the very embodiment of the European "grand hotel." Period furnishings and a luxury atmosphere carry this 19th-century ambiance into our own time in a city that offers numerous spa treatments and cultural activities.

Steigenberger Parkhotel
This classic luxury hotel at the top of Düsseldorf's famous Königsallee shopping street (called "Kö" by the locals) reflects the luster of Germany's industrial barons in the heart of the Ruhr area. Steel mills have largely given way to "green" technology, but the Kö keeps its cachet of exclusivity. The hotel's high ceilings, luxury fittings and genuine antiques create an ambiance of a bygone era.

Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe
After the reunification of Germany in 1990, Steigenberger began acquiring and building hotels in the former East Germany. Parallel to the reconstruction of Dresden's famed Frauenkirche, the hotel group built a new Hotel de Saxe across the Neumarkt from it to replace the original, which dated back to 1786. Now the Frauenkirche is one of Germany's biggest tourist draws, and the 185-room hotel with classical façade and modern interior enjoys a prime location.

Steigenberger Strandhotel Zingst
The group built another new hotel under the direction of noted designer Anne Marie Jagdfeld in the Baltic Sea resort town of Zingst, north of Rostock in the former East Germany. Located on the beach promenade, the gleaming white hotel, with 123 rooms and suites, is an ideal vacation spot. It has a 15,000-square-foot spa area with pools inside and outside, a whirlpool, a "Biosauna" and a standard Finnish sauna, nine treatment rooms and a gym. Cycling, sailing, canoeing, riding and, of course, swimming are among the numerous outdoor activities available.
