Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum
In the center of the parkway sits a lit-up building that looks cracked. But inside, it's a museum of strange collections from Robert Ripley and his workers. Families can see and learn about more than 500 items, including historic artifacts from around the world and scientific discoveries.

Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort & Amusement Park
In the winter months, Gatlinburg visitors can take a lift or aerial tramway to Ober Gatlinburg for a day filled with skiing, snow tubing and other snow sports. In the warmer months, you can view surrounding mountains and greenery on the chairlift or, even, participate in indoor ice skating or water rides. Ober Gatlinburg also has a restaurant and shopping areas.

Space Needle
Just a short walk from the Parkway, you can take a ride up a glass elevator to the top of the Space Needle. During the day, you can get scenic 360-degree views of the Great Smoky Mountains, and, at night, you can see the vibrant Gatlinburg strip. On the ground level, you can play video games, air hockey, pool and other games in the arcade.

Gatlinburg Skylift
Families with children and couples will enjoy a peaceful, yet adventurous, ride to the top of Crockett Mountain. With views of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Parkway and Little Pigeon River, there's much to see along the 500-foot ride--you may even spot a black bear. At the top, you can have your picture made, and then enjoy some songs from a mountaintop bluegrass band and a visit to the gift shop or snack bar before your ride back down the mountain.
