Cabins Near Chattanooga, Tennessee

The area surrounding Chattanooga is an outdoor paradise. Golf enthusiasts can play a round of golf at one of the many golf courses in the greater Chattanooga area. If you are in the mood for a little exploration, you can head over to The Lost Sea Adventure--the largest underground lake in the U.S.--or perhaps explore Cumberland Caverns. If adventure is your style, a whitewater rafting trip down the Ocoee River will certainly get your adrenaline pumping. Welcome Valley Village

The cabins at Welcome Valley Village, located just two miles from Cherokee National Forest on the Ocoee River, offer comfort in a relaxing natural setting. The Village offers five guests cabins. They will accommodate from four to nine people, depending on which unique cabin you choose. All cabins have large porches and include fully equipped kitchens, central heating and air conditioning, televisions with DVD or VCR players, ceiling fans and more. Cabins also include Jacuzzis or fireplaces, some with both. For a more private accommodation for a group of up to seven, the Homestead, located on a farm two miles from the Village, is also available. Cherokee National Forest offers a wealth of outdoor activities, and the nearby cities of Chattanooga, Blue Ridge and Cleveland offer all of the shopping and dining conveniences you need.

Jim Oliver's Smoke House

Jim Oliver's Smoke House offers lodge and cabin accommodations for you to choose from. Fourteen cabins are available in a separate 25-acre setting, but within easy walking distance to all lodge facilities. Although rustic by design, cabins include all the comforts of home, including king or queen beds, fireplaces, hot tubs, porches and mini-kitchens. The lodge facilities include a playground for the kids, volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, and an outdoor pool. The lodge also features the Smoke House Restaurant, which serves delicious Southern cuisine, including country ham, homemade biscuits, barbeque and much more.

Adventures Unlimited

In addition to lodging, Adventures Unlimited offers exciting whitewater rafting adventures on the Ocoee and Hiwassee Rivers. The Adventure Resort offers bungalow and cabin accommodations, as well as a campground with RV hookups. All cabins are 1200 square feet, with three bedrooms. Each cabin features central heating and air conditioning, one bathroom, a breakfast room, den and a fully equipped kitchen. The Resort features outdoor activities such as a climbing wall, beach volleyball and horseshoes. When it is time for more strenuous outdoor adventure, Adventures Unlimited operates class 3 and 4 whitewater rafting trips on the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers.
