D'Jung Thai Cuisine
The ambience of D'Jung Thai Cuisine is sparse and utilitarian, but it still manages to feel like a little bit of Thailand. There isn't a lot of variety in the reasonably priced menu, but dishes have been carefully chosen and are fresh and handmade. If you choose a noodle dish you can't go wrong. The tasty Rad Na, made with wide rice noodles, broccoli and yellow bean sauce, is a favorite. There is nothing disappointing about the curries and the fried rice dishes are recommended, particularly the basil fried rice. The garlic delight is also a highlight. Lunch and dinner service at this family run restaurant is friendly and efficient.

Grandma Thai Cuisine
This tiny restaurant in a converted house may be one of Kent's best kept secrets. Two Thai grandmothers account for the name of the restaurant and their authentic home-style cooking and extremely reasonable prices create a loyal clientele. Spicy green beans, garlic shrimp and Phad Kee Mao noodles all stand out, and all of the curries from panang and pineapple to salmon are popular. The cooks aren't afraid to use spice in the dishes, so unlike many area Thai restaurants, if you order four stars, it will be hot. This is a family friendly restaurant with personal service that is open for lunch and dinner every day except Sunday.

Thai Chili Restaurant
Don't let the strip mall location fool you. When you enter Thai Chili Restaurant you will feel swept away to Thailand by the decor and the aromas of lemon grass and jasmine rice. The food here is authentic and freshly made when you order. Diners rave about the Yum seafood salad, the basil fried rice and the curries. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes and the dessert menu is heavenly, with people waiting all year for the sweet sticky rice pudding with mango to come in season. Try the popular fried banana with coconut ice cream or the black sticky rice pudding when mango is out of season. Dinner is served every day and lunch is available on weekdays.
