Pet-Friendly Hotels on Sarasota's Islands in Florida
There are a number of islands (often called "keys") off the coast of Sarasota, Florida, featuring the soft, white-sand beaches that are considered among the best in the world. In an environment where many vacationers rent homes by the week or month, hotels often feature cottages or suites and almost invariably offer kitchen facilities. A number of hotels accept pets, though sometimes there is an extra charge and advance notice is often required.

Each of the beach cottages features a hot tub tucked away in a gazebo in the private courtyard. It was one of the first accommodations in Sarasota to welcome pets, starting back in the 1990s.
