Located close to downtown with easy access to Interstate 5, Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort has 139 sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups. The resort, built in 2006, features family restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, a fitness room, outdoor swimming pool, an indoor heated hot tub, a library, a playground and a heated gazebo with a barbecue grill. They provide daily shuttles to the Chinook Winds Casino Resort and have a 5,7000 square foot guest clubhouse.

Oak Park RV Village

Oak Park RV Village is located within a few miles of Salem and offers 107 sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups. The Park features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, cable TV, a recreation room, Wi-Fi, playground and picnic area. This RV village welcomes pets.

Silver Falls State Park

Found in the lower elevations of Oregon's Cascade Mountains just 16 miles east of Salem, Silver Falls State Park is a temperate rain forest. It features the nationally recognized Canyon Trail that leads hikers along the banks of Silver Creek to 10 majestic waterfalls. The park includes over 25 miles of trails for hiking, 14 miles of equestrian trails, and bird-watching and wildlife viewing areas. As part of the Oregon State Parks system, there are 52 electrical sites that can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet long. The park also has restrooms and a dump station. Tent sites are also available.
