Arizona Outdoor & Travel Club
The Arizona Outdoor & Travel Club (AzOTC) is a nonprofit dedicated to biking, camping, hiking and other outdoor activities across Arizona. The AzOTC schedules multiple events weekly that are open to all club members; nonmembers may attend for a small fee. All scheduled activities are rated through a difficulty grading system. AzOTC monthly general meetings are open to the public. Annual membership fees range from $25 for individuals to $50 for families.

TJ's Travel Club
TJ's Travel Club for Seniors specializes in senior travel across Arizona and the Southwest. TJ's Travel Club was founded in 1984 by Dr. Jeff Reed, a former gerontologist who started the club for the spouses of his terminally ill patients. Every month, TJ's Travel Club offers about 15 one- to three-day trips for members. Six or seven extended cruises are also offered for members every year. Annual membership fees are $30 per year for one household.

Friend's Hiking Club
Operating out of Tempe, Friend's Hiking Club has been organizing hiking excursions since 1996. Club activities include hikes, canoe trips, kayak trips and camping. Club events are listed on the group's website and are rated from easy to difficult. Nonmembers may take part in events for a $3 fee. Membership fees for Friend's Hiking Club are $15 annually for an individual, or $25 for a househould.

Arizona Trailblazers Hiking Club
The Arizona Trailblazers Hiking Club organizes multiple day-hikes across Arizona every month and several weekend camping trips throughout the year. The group began as the Motorola Hiking Club in 1996, changing its name in 2003 when Motorola layoffs severed sponsorship ties for the group. The Arizona Trailblazers Hiking Club offers carpooling assistance for anyone interested in the hiking events. Annual dues for membership are $25 for single members and $35 for families.

Desert Adventures
Desert Adventures is a travel and social organization operating out of Phoenix catering primarily to Arizona's gay and lesbian community. Desert Adventures organizes multiple events every month, ranging from local scenic tours, local hikes and dinner events. Group social meetings are held on the first Tuesday every month at Phoenix's Community Church of Hope on North Seventh Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Membership fees are $25 annually; nonmembers can attend events for a small fee.
