Visitors are drawn to the small town of Green River, located along Interstate 70 in east central Utah, to experience the Green River itself. This major waterway of the western United States provides world-class rafting, kayaking and canoeing. Green River also makes a convenient base camp from which to visit nearby outdoor attractions such as Arches National Park, San Rafael Swell, Canyonlands National Park and Goblin Valley. Despite the town's small size, there are many hotels from which to choose.
