Located in central Minnesota, Breckenridge is a 3-hour drive from the many hiking, biking and camping opportunities of the Huron-Manistee National Forests and State Park. Much closer is the Saginaw Bay area, a oasis for the icefisherman or those searching for walleye fishing during the summer months. While there are few lodging options in Breckinridge proper, there are many close by in nearby Wahpeton, just 5 minutes away and across the state line in North Dakota.
