The Grand America Hotel
For couples looking for a romantic evening (or a few nights) in Salt Lake City, the Grand America hotel is as lavish and spoiling as it gets--it's truly grandiose. Located in the city center, the hotel shows off the glittering downtown skyline from Premier Rooms to the Presidential Suite. Room amenities include marble bathtubs, antique chairs and couches and mountain view balconies. The hotel owns and operates its own tea room and The Garden Café with terrace dining in the spring and summer.
There is no shortage of things to do in the wild: couples can ski the most provocative slopes located less than an hour away including Park City, Deer Valley and The Canyons ski resort. In the summer, enjoy hiking, biking and jogging together at Mueller Park or take a dip in the natural warm water springs in the Crystal Hot Springs. The Grand America also offers an indoor and outdoor pool and a full service spa with a couples massage option accented with the hotel's signature raspberry tonic drink and artesan chocolates. Double rooms, as of December 2009, rooms start at $245.
