Dartmoor is one of England's largest and most well-known national parks. In the heart of Britain's countryside, the park offers some of the most impressive trails and views of England's natural beauty. Near Dartmoor National Park there is also bodies of waters such as the West Dart River that are popular for salmon fishing. The Dartmoor Inn

The Dartmoor Inn has three airy, light rooms for guests to rent. Each room has double accommodation and is decorated with hand-painted furniture from England and France. The rooms have sitting areas aside from sleeping quarters and en suite bathrooms. TVs are available upon request, but every room does come with a radio. The quaint hotel has a restaurant and bar for guests as well as a boutique full of handmade crafts for sale. The inn may be small, but it prides itself on service. Located near Dartmoor National Park, this hotel is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, country escape.

Prince Hall Hotel

Prince Hall Hotel is a boutique hotel near Dartmoor National Park. The hotel is a tranquil retreat and is one of Devon's only dog-friendly hotels. Located beside the West Dart River, this hotel offers fishing packages during fishing season. If you prefer hiking, there are daily guided tours of Dartmoor Park as well. The rooms at Prince Hall are large with not only sleeping quarters (king-size or twin-size beds), but sitting areas as well. The bedding, walls and furniture are cream, blue or yellow for a relaxing environment. Guests can enjoy a meal at the hotel restaurant as well as spa treatments after a day out in Dartmoor National Park.

Innkeeper's Lodge: Plymouth Roborough

The Innkeeper's Lodge is a moderately-priced hotel in Plymouth near Dartmoor National Park. The hotel has 40 rooms (available in single, double or family suites) with work desks, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, coffee makers and en suite facilities with hair dryers. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the Toby Carver's Restaurant. This hotel is close enough to Dartmoor National Park to enjoy day explorations of the large park, but is also close enough to Plymouth which offers an array of outdoor activities from hiking trails to scuba diving.
