Lake Okeechobee is located just south of central Florida and is commonly referred to as The Big O. The dike around the lake is part of the 1,400-mile-long Florida Trail. Located in Pahokee, Lake Okeechobee Outpost is situated on the lake. On-site features include a marina, store, outdoor pool, pier, laundry, bath houses and bar. Campsites offer RV hookups for water, sewer and electrical. There are also tent sites available as well as cabins with full kitchens. Rates are in daily, monthly and yearly increments.

Buckhead Ridge Resort and Campground

Located near the lake as well as other attractions such as a Native American-Army battle field, casinos and a zoo, Buckhead Ridge Resort and Campground has RV sites with full hookups including water and sewer. On-site activities include fishing, boating and a pool. Other features include a laundry, clubhouse and rental campers.

Crooked Hook RV Resort

Located on the south side of the lake, Crooked Hook RV Resort offers many on-site amenities including Wi-Fi, bathhouses, laundry, a pool, picnic sites, fitness center, fish-cleaning area and event facilities. Activities are planned throughout the day. Both RV and tent sites are available as well as rental units. Full hookups with 30 and 50 amps are offered for RVs.
