Skidaway Island State Park
Skidaway Island State Park is located 15 miles southeast of Savannah, and with 588 acres it borders Skidaway narrows, part of Georgia's intercoastal waterway. It has 87 campsites with water and electricity, an interpretive center, three playgrounds, trails for hiking and wildlife viewing and an observation tower for bird-watching. Tent camping is also available.
