Harte & Garter

The Harte & Garter is nearly the definition of class. With hanging chandeliers in most rooms (including the spa and dining areas), and gold trimmed mirrors lining the walls, guests can expect a luxurious stay for a moderate price. Located near Windsor castle, most of the 79 rooms provide a view of the castle. The building dates back to the 14th century as one of Windsor's original coaching inns, The Garter Inn. Today, this history is incorporated with contemporary style in each room. The walls and bedding are brightly-colored and printed, and the furniture is classic. Each room provides a flat-screen TV, en-suite bathroom, free Internet access and complementary toiletries. Enjoy a meal or drink at Tower Brassiere and Tea Room or a spa treatment at The Stable Spa after a day exploring the town.
