Located on the southbound side of Route 1, this property (formerly a Days Inn) features four stories with 145 guest rooms, many of which were renovated in 2009. Lodging options include standard guest rooms with two queen beds or one king bed, in addition to mini-suites with one king bed and a pull-out sofa. There are eight rooms designated as "handicap accessible," which include a roll-in shower for a wheelchair, and all but 20 of the hotel's units are designated non-smoking. Red Roof Inn
Located on the northbound side of Route 1, the Red Roof Inn is one of the newest hotels in Saugus, featuring three stories and more than 100 guest rooms. Bedding selections include standard rooms with one king bed or two double beds as well as a limited number of two-room suites with a king bed, sleeper sofa, microwave, refrigerator and two 25-inch televisions. Standard in-room amenities include expanded cable television, wireless Internet, AM/FM alarm clock radio and a coffeemaker. One pet is allowed per room, and children under 17 years old stay free in their parents' room. Microwaves and refrigerators are available in some standard rooms for a fee.
