Ocean City, Maryland is an ideal destination for families. If the kids have had their fill of playing on the beach and swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, parents can take them over to the boardwalk. In the summer, the resort has scheduled activities available for the kids such as arts and crafts, face painting and a magic show.

Carousel Resort Hotel & Condominiums

Families will find plenty to do at this beach resort. There is an indoor pool, an indoor ice-skating rink, a game room with pool tables, outdoor tennis courts and a heated outdoor pool. Parents with very young children will appreciate the outdoor baby pool. Families can choose between condominiums, hotel rooms and suites at this resort. Hotel room amenities include a microwave, sink, coffeemaker and mini-fridge. The condominiums feature washers and dryers, and the kitchens are fully equipped. The resort provides linens, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent to its condominium guests. The Carousel's full-service restaurant, Seasons, has ocean views and a children's menu that includes a dessert choice of either cotton candy or ice cream.

Princess Royale Oceanfront Family Resort & Condominiums

The Princess Royale Oceanfront Family Resort & Condominiums is an all-suite resort. Families can choose either a two-room suite or a condominium. Condominiums are available with either two or three bedrooms. Both the suites and the condominiums have full kitchens (including a dishwasher, a full-size refrigerator and a microwave oven). Princess Royale's condominiums have washers and dryers. There is not an outdoor pool at this Ocean City beach resort. However, there is a heated indoor pool and a sundeck with hot tubs. Parking is free for guests, and there is complimentary valet parking during the peak season.
