Wimberley is a small Texas town, located between San Antonio and Austin. Each year, tourists come to Wimberley to enjoy the Blanco River and explore the area's scenic beauty. The town of Wimberley is in close proximity to the Lost Maples State Natural Area and Wimberley Valley Ranch, a resort popular for horseback riding, swimming and fishing. The Mountain View Lodge has a private 5.5 acre nature trail that allows you to explore the Texas Hill Country and the Edwards Plateau on foot. This lodge, perched on a hilltop, has 16 comfortable rooms that overlook the Blanco River Valley. All rooms have private balconies with views. The lodge provides complimentary coffee and pastries in the morning and free wireless Internet access. All of the rooms at Mountain View Lodge are non-smoking and children are welcome.

The Lodge at Cypress Falls

Situated on Cypress Creek, The Lodge at Cypress Falls offers tranquility in a Hill Country setting. Guests have access to an outdoor pool, as well as the natural Eagle Rock swimming hole. Tubes are available for lazy floats down the creek. In addition to the water-based amenities, The Lodge at Cypress Falls has a volleyball court and lots of little nooks to just sit and unwind. The lodge has 22 rooms featuring a rock wall and ranch-style windows. Complimentary continental breakfast is served in the lobby every morning.
