Phuket is Thailand's largest island. Located in the Andaman Sea, off southern Thailand, Phuket is renowned for its beautiful beaches, blue ocean, fresh seafood and some of the best diving in the world. Koh Phi Phi is a favorite dive site in Thailand. Racha Yai has coral reefs, and Hin Mu Sang (Shark Point) is a wonderful dive spot to see leopard sharks. Go sailing or kayaking in Phang Nga Bay or surfing at Kamala Beach. Don't miss Phuket's nightlife with bars, clubs, live music and open-air seafood restaurants. Phuket has many hotels, in all price ranges, that are perfect for a few days' stay, a week or longer.

Baan Karon Resort

The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and Jacuzzi that are lit up at night if you feel like a private night swim. Baan Karon Resort is a 10- minute walk from Karon and Kata beaches, where you can swim, hire a boat to go diving or snorkel.
