On Guanaja, a small island off the coast of Honduras, resorts offer a personalized, private getaway. Surrounded by a barrier reef, Guanaja has many places to dive near the island or at nearby cays. End of the World Resort provides guest cabanas with ocean views and island décor, private baths and outdoor showers on the deck. Units come with queen and single beds. The resort has an on-site restaurant that serves three meals daily, as well as a full-service bar. Skilled instructors take divers to the various diving locations, and teach scuba classes that range from beginner to advanced open-water courses. Sports fishermen will find that the waters are teeming with many kinds of fish and can either fish from the boat, in the surf or from the dock. All fishing gear and spin tackle is provided. Local charters are available to take guests deep sea fishing and packages are available on request. Guests can enjoy the beach clubhouse for a drink.

Island House Resort

Island House Resort offers two guesthouses that can accommodate up to 12 people. The structure boasts island-style architecture, louvered windows, tile floors and ocean view balconies. There is a bar at the dock right on the Caribbean. Diving tours are small and intimate, specialized to the guests' wants. Guests can also swim, snorkel, sea kayak, hike, river raft, fish, and tour Mayan ruins on the mainland. There are trips to town to visit the local villages or moonlight bar hopping tours that one will not find at other resorts.

The Coral Bay Dive Resort is a small resort for divers looking for a more unique, intimate experience. Guests stay in cabanas that have views of the ocean and are decorated with local island native artifacts, private bathrooms with showers and outside decks. Nature provides the air conditioning with cool ocean breezes and shade from the towering jungle trees. Amenities include an Internet café, high-speed Internet DSL, VOIP, and VISA cash advances. The resort organizes a variety of dives, such as reef, wall, night and cave dives.
